Maurizio Mussi

EXPERIENCE

Maurizio Mussi joined Bain Capital in 2010. He is a Partner and Head of the Europe Portfolio Group. Maurizio has operated across a broad set of industries including payments, software, semiconductors, and aquaculture, focusing on driving value in our portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Maurizio led the turnaround at La Perla, a luxury underwear company, reestablishing profitability through a strong focus on operational excellence and data driven management. Prior to joining La Perla, he worked at McKinsey & Company in the Milan office on sales performance improvement and restructuring engagements for major European packaged goods and retail players.
 

EDUCATION

Maurizio received an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He graduated summa cum laude with a BBA from Università Commerciale L. Bocconi in Milan.
