Kohei Otani

EXPERIENCE

Kohei Otani joined Bain Capital in 2021. He is a Principal on the Asia Pacific Private Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Kohei was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division (Principal Investment Area), engaged in private equity and growth investments in Japan. Previously, he worked at J.P. Morgan, focused on mergers and acquisitions advisory and equity and debt underwriting for Japan’s financial services industry.

EDUCATION

Kohei received an MEcon and BA from the University of Tokyo.
