Junichi Takami

EXPERIENCE

Junichi Takami joined Bain Capital in 2020. He is an Executive Vice President in the Portfolio Group and a member of the Asia Pacific Private Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Junichi worked at McKinsey & Company in the Tokyo office, engaged in operational transformations for the manufacturing industry.  Prior to joining McKinsey, Junichi worked at the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry in Japan on policy planning across a wide-variety of policy domains.

EDUCATION

Junichi received an MBA from the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a bachelor of economics from The University of Tokyo.
