Ivano Sessa

EXPERIENCE

Ivano Sessa joined Bain Capital in 2004. He is a Partner, Co-Head of Europe Private Equity, and Co-Head of the Industrial vertical. 

Ivano focuses on investments in the aerospace and defense, capital goods and industrial technology, energy transition, chemical, packaging, and industrial services sectors as well as coverage of Southern Europe. He had led or been a key contributor to several transactions during his tenure and has actively served on the boards of directors for many Bain Capital portfolio companies, including TeamSystem, Cerved, IMCD, Bravida, Ewos, Autodistribution, EFTD, Fedrigoni, Italmatch, Ahlstrom, ITP Aero, FIS, Eleda, and Somacis.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ivano was a consultant with Bain & Company in the New York, Atlanta, and Milan offices where he provided strategic and operational advice to private equity, industrial, and financial services clients.
 

EDUCATION

Ivano received a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude in business administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
