On Sunday, June 9th, nearly 4,600 walkers gathered at the DCR Hatch Shell in Boston, MA to take part in the annual Eversource Walk for Boston Children's Hospital (BCH). As in years past, Bain Capital Community Partnership (BCCP) served as a sponsor of the 2019 Walk. The BCCP team included 20 participants, comprised of employees, family, and friends. To date, the team has raised approximately $13,000 to support critical research, patient care and community health programs at BCH.
The Eversource Walk is BCH's largest single-day event with thousands of patient families, doctors, nurses, and corporate sponsors participating each year. The money raised by this event through the support of walkers and fundraisers will be used to support the groundbreaking work taking place at BCH – from funding research programs to covering housing for families.
