On Friday, December 14, more than 50 Bain Capital employees joined fellow City Year supporters for the City Year Holiday Service Day (formally the Thanksgiving Service Day) hosted by the City Year Boston Civic Engagement team at City Year Headquarters on Columbus Avenue.
Throughout the course of the day, volunteers created incentive items, toiletry kits, mosaics, fleece scarves, hats and blankets, bookshelves and more for five Boston Public Schools where City Year AmeriCorps members work with students to improve their attendance, behavior and coursework performance.
