On Sunday, September 24, Bain Capital and Domino's Pizza joined forces once again in support of the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk benefiting the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. 30 Bain Capital volunteers, consisting of employees and their families, worked together to hand out pizza to the hungry walkers crossing the finish line in Copley Plaza.
Over the course of the day, 6,400 slices of pizza were distributed to 9,300 walkers, who have so far this year raised $8.8M. Since the walk started 29 years ago, over $125M has been raised in support of cancer research.
A great big special thank you to all those Bain Capital employees who volunteered their time and helped support the efforts to one day find a cure!
